ZOILA ROSA MEDINA SELVA was called to the presence of the Lord on February 17, 2023, at the age of 109. She was born in Granada, Nicaragua, in 1913, where she had her children and was both Mother and Father to them. She moved to New York in 1979 to join her daughter as a support to her in the American adventure. Here she served with pride the role of Mother and Grandmother offering the best examples of Catholicism to her family, being a self-sacrificing woman with unwavering faith. With time, her family grew to include many members of the community where she taught her faith to many others. Her strong spirit and faith held her on Earth for more time with the rest of her family. Often being the one to remember the birthdays and Saint days for her family to make calls. She is survived by her relatives: Brother, Son, Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, who will miss her greatly, although she will always live in our hearts. This Wednesday, February 22, 2023, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm, at Dwyer & Michael Funeral Home,(Livestreaming Available) we will celebrate the life that we were blessed to have light up our lives. El día 17 de Febrero del año 2023 a la edad de 109 años fue llamada a la presencia del Señor: ZOILA ROSA MEDINA SELVA Nació en Granada, Nicaragua en 1913 donde tuvo sus hijos y fue Madre y Padre para ellos. Se traslado a New York en 1979, aquí fue Madre y Abuela brindando los mejores ejemplos del Catolicismo a su familia, siendo una mujer abnegada y de fe inquebrantable. Rogamos oraciones por su alma.
