Camille Carpinone Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Carpinone, Camille 05/19/1942 – 12/04/2023 Beloved wife of the late Carmine, daughter of the late George and Mary Fusaro. Dear sister to Dolores and the late Christina. Beloved and cherished mother of the (Late) Anthony, Carmine Jr. (Lisa), Christopher, and Marc. Loving grandmother to Carmine III, Nicole, Michael (Christina), and Krista. Great grandmother to beautiful Sofia. Camille was a devoted family woman, who took great pride in her family. She always preached the importance of education, and that all of her four sons listen to her word. She was a kind loving mother who was a great cook, and also athletic, into bowling, softball, swimming, and volleyball. She even carried a professional bowling average for over forty years. Above all, she had a big personality, who said it like it was… In her early years of marriage, she was a licensed NYS beautician, although retired once the kids arrived. She then cut all our hair at home. Her husband and kids were her life, whom she adored and she always let us know it. At 81 years old she was by far still fast, strong, stylish, very slick and in great shape. Our (late) brother Anthony and myself, Carmine Jr, the oldest of the four boys, thought our parents were super heroes. We always felt safe and protected, loved by two wonderful parents, and now that they have passed, our memories will carry us on to be strong loving survivors. Camille had many, many friends, nieces, and nephews…all who loved her. She will be deeply missed and remembered forever. A visitation will be held Thursday, December 7th, and Friday, December 8th, from 2-5pm & 7-9pm at Carmine’s Funeral Home, Hungerford & Clark, located in Freeport, NY. A funeral mass of Christian burial will follow, Saturday, December 9th at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Massapequa Park, NY, at 10:30am, and immediately afterwards an entombment at St Joseph’s Mausoleum in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
