Jane Muller

Jane Muller passed from this world in peace and serenity in the early evening of Sunday, May 22nd, 2022, in her home in Elmsford, New York, surrounded by her husband, Dominick Carlucci, her sister, Susan Pileggi, her brother-in-law Joseph Carlucci, and her beloved cats Chloe and Max. Jane was born in New York City, the eldest child of William and Libby Muller, and was raised in Tarrytown, attending Tarrytown schools, graduating from Sleepy Hollow High School in 1970. She attended SUNY Fredonia for a short time before returning to Tarrytown where she started a successful private pre-school program – The Tarrytown Recreational Play Group. During this period, she also attended Westchester Community College and became re-acquainted with Dominick, a friend from her high school days; they began dating and eventually married in February, 1982. She later began working for a home cleaning service, but soon left and began her own cleaning business which she operated for almost twenty years. Jane was a warm, loving and generous person, enjoying many close friendships. She had a great love for dogs and cats, frequently caring for the pets of her cleaning service clients – both at their homes and hers. A memorial service will be held at Dwyer and Michael’s Funeral Home on Friday, June 3rd, between 5 and 9 PM.
