Caroline L. Reilly

Caroline L. Reilly of New Rochelle, NY and former resident of Tarrytown, Cobleskill and Fort Myers, FL passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. Born March 23, 1936 daughter of Marie and John Barton of Columbiana, OH. Caroline graduated from The Andrews School in Willoughby, OH and The Mount Sinai Hospital School of Nursing, New York, NY. She was a Registered Nurse in Manhattan before starting her family. She later worked in Hospital Administration in the Quality Assurance Discharge Planning Departments at the Schoharie County Community Hospital, Cobleskill, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Francis S. Reilly, M.D. She is survived by her five children, Jim (Mary Beth), Maureen, Annemarie (Peter Papazoglou), Thomas (Katherine), Bob (Sue) and grandchildren, Caroline, Ryan, Brennan, Caelyn, Sean and Jimmy. Caroline was a fantastic cook and avid jazz fan and enjoyed watching Notre Dame football, St. John's basketball and the NY Jets. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, She was known for her beautiful eyes and smile, kind spirit and warm heart. She will be missed dearly. The family will be holding a private service at Dwyer & Michael's Funeral Home, 90 North Broadway, Tarrytown, following which she will be laid to rest at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
